From June 4th to June 7th 2022 the choreographers Anna-Carolin Weber and René Reith from the artist network systemrhizoma offer an intensive dance workshop in Hildesheim. The four days will be filled with professional training in contemporary dance and ballet as well as choreographic work. The workshop consists of a daily program from 10 am to 6 pm, which includes common breaks, food and reflection. Under the working title „Tactile“ we ask ourselves which movements can balance the dynamic relationship between proximity and distance, isolation and community, isolation and collectivization. Touching is not appointed to the ideal of dance, but rather creatively worked on in its complexity — for example through hesitation and missed touches to close contact to left behind imprints in space.
